Super 8 by Wyndham Charlotte University

I have stayed at this hotel a couple of times for wanting to lower in hotels it is always in good clean condition every time I stay The staff is nice. And the price is very good also it's not in the best location but l definitely will be staying in the future.

The bedroom was well cleaned but the sheets were dirty. A simple fix. Overall no complaints

The outside of the hotel isn't the greatest but it is well maintained. There is a persistent smell of weed at the entry and in the lobby. The neighborhood around the hotel does not inspire confidence. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were clean and properly maintained. Stayed in room 102, which is physically located next to the breakfast room and the front desk. I did not have any major issues with noise or disturbance. The bed was comfortable and the in-room microwave and mini-fridge worked as expected. Daily breakfast was fine but nothing special. Basically a continental breakfast with a crockpot of scrambled eggs and a waffle maker. Biggest issue experienced during the stay was having my credit card charged for 1-night of the stay, in addition to the 50 dollar incidental deposit, even though the stay was prepaid through my booking. I brought it to the attention to the front desk agent and the charge was reversed. For the price paid, I am satisfied with the stay. I received good value for the money and had no showstopper issues.

EXCELLENT STAY, PROFESSIONAL STAFF,& SAFE PREMISES. However my wife booked the wrong hotel for my visit to my surprise, she had booked Motel 6 on University. BEWARE OF THIS PROPERTY IF YOUR ON UNIVERSITY/SUGARCREEK AND LOOKING FOR A ROOM , NEVER STAY @MOTEL 6 ON UNIVERSITY. I STAYED ONE NITE AND IMMEDIATELY WAS THROWN ABACK FROM THE PARKING LOT, DIRTY SHEETS ON THE BED, DOOR WOULDN'T LOCK, TV HAD NO REMOTE,NASTY BATHROOM,& HOMELESS PEOPLE SLEEPING IN THE STAIRWAYS(PICTURE ENCLOSED) I HAD PAID FOR TWO NITE, THAT MORNING I RAN TO THE FRONT DESK& STATED MY CASE THAT I WOULDN'T BE STAYING A SECOND NITE& I WANTED MY MONEY. MY MONEY TOOK 2 WEEKS TO POST BK TO MY ACCOUNT....I WENT TO GET ICE@1:00 am IN THE MORNING, ONLY TO FIND A HOMELESS MAN IS SLEEPING IN THE STAIRWAYS... I WOULD ADVISE ANYONE WHO ENJOYS THEIR LIFE TO RUN FROM MOTEL6 RITE TO SUPER8!!!

This hotel is awesome, I stayed here for vacation and the rooms are so clean, bathroom is also clean, and the staff are very nice. Also the Super Breakfast was nice. We loved this hotel and probably next time I’ll love to be here again.

Overall a good stay, the room was decent. The tv was great as well as the bed and bathroom. A lot of the furniture is already broken in some way so I recommend taking pictures so you don’t take any blame for it. Had an issue checking in but it was Booking.com that was causing the issue and the front desk was extremely helpful with dealing with it. The area isn’t amazing but never had an issue with anyone bothering me other than trying to ask for a cigarette which I didn’t have anyways. Overall it was a nice experience. Thanks to the manager and young front desk lady who helped me check in without getting annoyed.

They were very attentive and clean. It was calm and quiet. I really enjoyed my stay. It's right behind a cook out, across the street from a smoke shop and next to a dairy Queen. There's also 2 gas stations and a club, it was perfect.

Enjoyed my stay. No problem with staff, or rooms. It is our hotel of choice.
